It’s hard to believe, but it’s time for our Summer Preview for 2015! (And yes, we know this is the first time we’ve done one of these but just act like this is an annual thing you look forward to reading every year. Thanks.)

We have a lot to look forward to this Summer including playing at some new festivals, returning to some of our

favorite’s, and playing with some of our favorite musicians and bands.

We are very excited to be making our debut at both the Kate Wolf Festival (June 25-28, Laytonville) and the Petaluma Music Festival (August 1st, Petaluma.) Artists at those festivals include The Wood Brothers, ALO, Smokey Robinson, Lukas Nelson & POTR, and our good friends Sherry Austin and Henhouse. We are also really excited to be making our return to the Redwood Mountain Faire (May 30-31, Felton). This takes place in our hometown of the San Lorenzo Valley at the beautiful Roaring Camp and is a local event that we look forward to every year. This will be our first time playing at the faire since 2013. You can catch us there on Saturday May 3oth along with The Meters Experience, Birds of Chicago, and Edge of the West, among others.

In addition to these festivals we have to highlight a couple shows we are particularly excited with. On Sunday May 31st we will be at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco opening for Jackie Greene. Jackie has been one of our favorite songwriters, guitarists, and performers for the past five years and it’s a huge thrill for us to be able to play with him on another legendary stage in San Francisco. Tickets are still available so we hope you’ll join us. (http://tickets.gamh.com/events/500480/jackie-greene/)

While we’re on the topic of our favorite guitarists, on June 10th we will be opening for the rocker, hall of famer, and heartbreaker, Mike Campbell and The Dirty Knobs at Moe’s Alley in Santa Cruz. We really can’t say enough about much we look up to Mike Campbell and how much his music has influenced us. This is a rare treat to have Campbell, and the Knobs, in Santa Cruz and at such an intimate venue like Moe’s Alley. We played with the Knobs last April in Santa Barbara so it comes with the greatest pleasure to be able to open for them in our hometown. You won’t want to miss this one! Our last three visits to San Francisco haven’t been bad. On February 7th we played to a sold out crowd at The Fillmore opening for Poor Man’s Whiskey. On November 25th we celebrated Jackie Greene’s Birthday, also on stage at The Fillmore, when we opened for him on night one of his two nights there; and on October 25th we just enjoyed a Rock and Roll show by Delta Spirit, also at The Fillmore. Oh, and we watched the Giants beat the Royals in Game 4 of the World Series. That was cool, too. Our next visit to San Francisco comes this Sunday, March 15th, when we make our debut at Slim’s as the headliner.(http://www.slimspresents.com/events/2015-03-15/the-coffis-brothers/.)

We will be making our headlining debut at Slim’s on March 15th where we will be joined by The Lady Crooners, and Karmen Buttler. We are very excited to be playing this legendary venue so DVR The Walking Dead (or whatever your Sunday night program is,) and come join us at Slim’s on Sunday March 15th at 7pm.

On February 7th, our buddies, Poor Man’s Whiskey will be headlining The Fillmore and WE will be opening the show. We’re excited. It seems that every time we run into PMW it happens to be somewhere spectacular. We met PMW in 2013 at The Redwood Mountain Faire at Roaring Camp in Felton. Since then we’ve run into them in Bend, Oregon on the Summer Solstice at the 4 Peaks Music Festival, and again on the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska at Salmonstock. And although those festivals put us in some of the most special places we’ve ever been, for us, The Fillmore tops just about anything.

On Saturday February 7th we will be returning to The Fillmore for our second time when we open for Poor Man’s Whiskey! In addition to PMW’s set of originals, they will be covering Paul Simon’s Graceland album, which we’ve heard is like a pretty alright album. Oh, and Hot Buttered Rum will be joining PMW for their two sets. The point is we want you to be there with us. Show and ticket information is below.
