Album release tour

The five of us all live in the Santa Cruz County and three of us grew up in Ben Lomond, in the Santa Crus Mountains. Jamie and I grew up close enough to Kyle to walk to his house, though I wouldn’t necessarily recommend that walk. Ben Lomond can be a tough walking town. Anyway, Santa Cruz has always been our home, but we spend a lot of time playing shows outside of the County. Something we were taught early on was to be careful not to overplay a market, and specifically not to overplay your local market. Tom Miller from Don Quixote’s taught us that. It makes sense, but it can be hard to do. As we’ve played less and less in Santa Cruz, it seems like each local show we play becomes more special. This year we played the Redwood Mountain Faire, Coffis Space at Moe’s Alley, and this past weekend we played the Felton Music Hall for our Album Release show. All of these shows have been special but we really felt it this past weekend. We had such a good time and we all came off stage thinking that it was one of our favorite shows we’ve ever played. Thank you all so much for showing up. We enjoyed every second of it. We can’t wait for the rest of the shows this month. See ya around. - Kellen
